Problem activaticing the plugins. (1 Viewer)

Hello,

I have a really strange problem that I'm not able to sort out.
I also searched on the fourm but I don't found similar cases.

I installed MP under vista ultimate.

Then I installed the plugsome plug ins.

Then in configuration I activated some of them (like RSS feed wikipedia, etc..) with right click and activate.

Then I started MP but I don't found any of the ativated plugins nor in home nor in my plugins.

In plug ins I found oly tetris and sudoku.

So I tried to decativate in config (righ click - deactivate) tetris and sudoku

But when I restated MP I foudn always tetris and sudoku in my plug ins.

Si its seems that MPO don't respond to the plug ins activation or deactivation.

Where can be the problem?

Have you got UAC enabled, which is the most useless bit of security that M$ has ever invented, so why use it (rant over).

ps. just enabled these plugins, they work fine with BlueTwo and Vista, so the skin you are using may not support this.

These work here correctly as well.

OK I will try find how to disable UAC

Anyway I'm using Xface but I tried also Blue two because I have the suspect of something related to the the sking but also with Blue two I got exactly the same beahviour.

Probleam solved

It's not enough to disable UAC during plugin installation, but you must reinstall MP with UAC disabled if it was installed with UAC enabled.

So UAC is causing this problem.
