Problem playing files with vrm9 (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I have problems playing some files like this
mms://ndr.wmod.llnwd.net/a3715/d1/msmedia/2010/0208/TV-20100208-0042-4101.wm.hi.wmv
in mediaportal - it is one of the files in the ard-mediathek. With evr everything works fine but as evr does not work for me for playing hdtv tv on my xp-system, it does not work for me.

The result using vmr9 is that I see only static stripes - something like a freeze of the first picture or so. The audio works fine. So I have correct audio and a static picture with the stripes. In general mediaportal behaves just like normal. I can stop, got to other areas - everything works but I always see only the static picture.

In WMP the stream works fine and also in mp if I chose EVR as renderer. I use an onboard ATI HD3200 graphic card and catalyst 9.8 - all later version of catalyst don't work for me as the hardware accelaration for hdtv does not work with the newer ones after waking up the system from s3.

In the logs I could not see any error.

Any help appreciated!

I solved the problem. The problem was that the WMVideoDecoder was used for WMV3. I changed ffdshow to use wmv9 and then turned of YV12 support on output.
