First of all: All my movies and series are stored on a Windows 2008 R2 Server.

Everytime I try to watch via My TV Series an episode I have the problem that it takes a long time untill it realy plays. I just had a look at the server and the taskmanager shows me high network traffic during this time. It seems that those files can't be streamed directly, so they are downloaded first? Because most of this files are in 720p it takes about 2 minutes to start an episode, which is really anoying.

May be it has something to do with subtitles (imported by My TV Series)?

I use Haali Mediasplitter + CoreAVC and/or PDVD9...

    Please attach logs from MP.

Do you have a lot of movies inside one folder? If so, make sure that "try to open linked files" under "Input" is disabled in Haali splitter or it opens all files in the folder to find multi-part files.

    I just uploaded the logs.

All my movies are in one folder and I didn't found any which has this issue. My series are ordered in that way:
    [series name]\Staffel [season number]\[series name] S[season number]E[episode number].mkv

So there are not more than 24 files in one folder. I tried with disabled search for linked files, but no change...

The only difference between movies (which seem to work perfect) and series seems to be the subtitles.

I can't see anything related in the logs beside that TVSeries is doing its update scan the first time it's started after MP was started. This could explain the network activity you are describing. Can you try it with the update scan disabled?

I love you... You are right, I have so much series with many episodes that the autoupdate produces this delay.

    Thank you!
