    Hi,

    Does anyone have a minute or two to check whether the following bug (confirmed in current SVN) is present in 1.2.0alpha?

    1. In Configuration->Music, enable 'Fade-in on start / fade-out on stop.
    2. Start MP.
    3. Go to TVguide. Start Viewing Channel B.
    4. Go to My Music (shares view in my case). Start playing some music.
    5. Observe: TV stops and Music starts playing (all ok so far).
    6. Go to TVguide. Start viewing channel A.
    7. Observe: Music stops, soundtrack from TV channels starts. Screen is frozen on TV-Guide. MP totally unresponsive.

    This will help us determine whether this is a new bug introduced as part of another bug fix, or whether it has been present for a long time and no-one has noticed.

    Thanks!

    But one of those also had SVN 27757 applied, and this worked fine? I really can't see anything since 27757 which could cause this, but it won't be too hard to test.

    If the issue is about the thing I suspect (BASS c++ calling to our C# after we have released resources) it could be luck based as well. If .NET Garbage Collector has not released the C# side objects it might not cause a crash always.

    Okay, well I can reproduce the problem with 27757, so it was there at that point.

    Bearing in mind tourettes' comment, we need lots of people to try this with 1.2.0alpha, and then to report back. Come on guys, you'll be the first to complain if you find a bug and we don't fix it quickly enough, so please help us squash this one before we release 1.2.0beta. It'll be worth it, trust me :)

    You are using BASS player for audio, and definitely have 'fade-in at start / fade-out at end' enabled? Strange because I can reproduce the problem here with 27772.

    Thanks for testing.
