Problem to customize my Basichome (1 Viewer)

Hi everybody and thanks for the great job done here !!

I've just upgraded my version of Mediaportal and i'm trying to customize the new X-factor skin basichome to make it look like my previous one with the improvements of the new one.

I've tried to change my buttons names and I want too they are link to same image folders and functions as they were before.

I'm not very good to customize those xml files so if someone can help me it will be very kind.

I put my old basichome file (the one which I want keep buttons names...) and the new one where I want to modify the button's names.

Hi,

No need to edit the xml file. Use the menu editor (guide).

Thanks for your answer but it seems I have a problem beacause when I try to go to the setting in Mediaportal configuration tool, I have a message which is telling me that this pluggin just have to be start and there's no configuration...

May be it comes from my upgrades of mediaportal ?...

Hi,

Sorry for my bad explanation. You should use the plugin called "XFactor Menu Editor" under Process Plugins. There are other xfactor plugins that gives the message you describe.

Thanks for your message, now i've found the right items.
I will try to just modify my basichome but it seems it will not be a straight road ...
