I'm trying to get ASIO to work with my ESI Juli@

If I start the tes app from this post:
https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/showpost.php?p=151498&postcount=4
I can playback eg a mp3 file fine, but if I close the test app and restart the app I do get an error: "Bass init error"

Here's the Log of the test app:
Code:

Bass Asio Init Error BASS_ERROR_DRIVER
When trying to configure ASIO in MPSetup the "Bass init error" appears as well.
Anyone got an idea?

To check it should work, I would recommend getting WinAMP + ASIO because I've used that with a combination of cards with complete success. At worst if you can't configure direct Mediaportal ASIO then you can switch on the WinAMP plugin in Mediaportal.

As for your problem, it smells badly of buggy ASIO drivers. I would recommend you first try the latest drivers from the internet (if you are not already), then try the drivers on the disk that came with the card.

Your last hope is ASIO4ALL, which might route around any ASIO driver bugs.

There has been some very recent work on the ASIO section, although not to fix anything like the issue you have been experiencing. Please check the very latest SVN for what should be a good working ASIO implementation.

    Good luck!

    Hi kenwonders!

I've tried it with winamp + asio and it works without any problems. Only thing is, that I cannot select the digital out (channel 3+4). Analogue out (1+2) works fine. So I think the bass engine has got a flawed/borked ASIO support...
Maybe they've got a forum or something I can report this problem. Maybe it can be fixed. I will check this later.

    Thanks
