    Hi

    i have a problem with myemulators 4.0.1.13 an MP1.2
When i close the znes emulator with the "stop emulation with mapped button" function the savegame isnt saved.
I have to start the games from the beginning. When i close the emulator with "Alt + F4" the savegame is ok.

Has anyone a idea how i can make my games saved with the "stop emulation with mapped button" function?

    Thanks
    Andi

It looks like the cause is due to the plugin force closing the emulator, therefore not giving it a chance to save. I'll change it to ask the program to close, hopefully causing it to go through its normal closing procedures as if you pressed alt-f4, including saving the current state.

Would be fantastic if you could make that. My girlfriends loves the plugin, but she hates to use the keyboard :)

    +1

The exit problem is one of the most annoying things about using my emulators...
Does this solution also works with epsx? THis emulator has to be closed via esc, as far as i know, if not the process will still be running...

    Hi

I have found a solution that works for me :)
I have a Logitech Harmony, and I use it as MCE Remote.
But there is another profile from logitech, called MCE Keyboard. With this config I have an ESC Key and now i can exit the emulator the normal way :)

Maybe someone can use this "workaround" to :)

i think i will use xpadder or pinnacle game profiler, because not every emulator is closing with the same key... with these programs, a profile can be made for every game /emulator that autoloads if game is started and so in every emulator the same buttons on my gamepad close the emulator the right way... a little bit complicated but hopefully it works

This issue should be fixed in the next release - for most emu's we just send a 'Close Window' message which will cause them to go through their normal close routine and hopefully save games, etc - optionally you can specify that the emu closes on Esc (i.e. epsxe) in which case we send the Esc key instead.

Apart from ePSXe, does anyone know of any other emus that don't close normally (i.e. Alt+F4 doesn't cause them to close properly)?

    Thx

Hey, thanks for your work on this plug-in, it's really great. Do you have an idea when/if the zsnes not saving on exit thing can be fixed? This is the one thing holding me back from emulator perfection :)
