Hi!
I started playing with mediaportal a few days ago.
Great work with this all-in-one application.
It's great this community is this big and many beautiful profs comes out of it.
Now I have a problem what I can't see where the problem comes from.
1 computer, dedicated fir the tv-server, all tv cards included and setup went great.
I can see channels, importing channels went fine. So assumably the database works correct local.
Now I fucked some stuff up with the first database, so I made a diffeent instance/name fir the databases, and using a different port.
Sqlserver is opened for all network connections.
If k try in manual-timeshift to stream a channel and open this channel on another computer then it works great!!!
But if I open mediaportal o. The other computer (first it take ages it's loading window components) and the it will fail
To connect to tv-server, or I get no message and the mediaportal will hang when I press the watch button.
My firewall and virusprog is off to eliminate all problems.
Can someone help me on this?
Can I use some logfiles to see where the problem comes from?
