I'm not sure how long this has been happening as I usually update through MP, but I noticed today that I was getting errors when downloading new banners and episode images.

Examples of the errors are:
Code:
New Episode Image found for "Clash of the Gods - 1x4 - Minotaur": episodes/107631/963991.jpg
Episode Thumbnail download failed ( http://thetvdb.com/banners/episodes/107631/963991.jpg )

If I copy and paste the link I get an error saying the image couldn't be found, however, if I go through the tvdb site, it seems to be the same link that has the picture.

An example of the banner error:
Code:
Downloading artwork for "The Mentalist"
Banner download failed (http://thetvdb.com/banners/graphical/82459-g10.jpg) to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Thumbs\MPTVSeriesBanners\The Mentalist\-langen-graphical/82459-g10.jpg

The same thing happens as with the episode thumbs.

I'm using version 2.2.3389 of the plugin. I also tried the latest stable version (not from a clean db) and got the same errors.

Apologies if this should instead be posted at thetvdb forum.

Thanks.

As an aside, I also get this message in the log:
Code:
Warning: Could not add Volume Label/Removable Property to episode - are you using these as a capture group?

Is this to do with the fact I've listed the shares where I store my TV shows as a removable drive? Even though I am using a WHS machine for storing the TV shows, I have it set to boot up from shutdown when the HTPC boots up. Sometimes the HTPC boots quicker than the server and so if I do a scan, the TV shows can disappear and then it rescans everything next time. I guessed that marking the network shares as a removable drive could stop this from happening. Not sure if it's the most elegant solution though.

Its a problem with theTVDB and has been reported on their forums.

Yes, its because you set as removable. Removable should only be set for Removable Drives e.g DVDs, USB HDDs. You should instead enable the option 'Keep reference to files no longer available on computer'. This will keep database entries if files can not be accessed when doing a local scan.

Alternatively you can upgrade to v2.3 and stop Import/Update on startup and just do it manually from with-in the GUI.

Thanks. I'll wait patiently for it to be fixed and the missing artwork to be downloaded.

Thanks again. I'll enable that option instead.
