problems playing divx/mpg etc (1 Viewer)

hi guys im using the latest version of mp and the latest svn, i installed the latest CCCP codecs, however for some reason I cannot play divx, mpg and pretty much anything other than x264 files...no matter which codec i set under settings....what happens is it starts playing i hear audio but the video is very dark (almost black) with lines across so obviously its unwatchable...
this only happens when i output media portal to my 2nd monitor which is my projector
on my pc monitor its fine
how can i fix this?

Codec pacs usage is not recommended. Look at the wiki, it lists all required codecs.
