problems playing recorded tv files (1 Viewer)

I'm having problems viewing the files that I have recorded with mytv. I cant fast forward. I'm trying to get ready for the world cup, so I decided that I need to record some games as I'm going to be working while the game is on. I've been trying to get this ready. Everything seems fine until I try to play the files. When I try to fast forward the video either goes blank or it stops. Sound has the same problem. AFter that I have to close the file and open it again. Same problem is found if I try to open the file with windows media player...

I have had the same FF and RW problem previously.

Try switching to the default Mpeg2dec video codec for TV, this works fine for me.
