Synopsis: everytime I get into the TV module of Mediaportal My PC lock up completely or mediaportal will just shutdown by itself and give me an error saying it had to shutdown with no info why.
It happens everytim I try to use the TV module.
Everytihing else works fine.
Have been told the videocard will not support HD but I have tried 720P HD vuideos and they work fine.
Anyhelp would be appreciated, Love the software and wuold hate to have to let it go just because of this problem.

I don't know the specific card, but if the card is not a hardware-mpeg card, it probable stresses your CPU/GPU far more than plain 720p playback.

Have you tried different codecs?

Well the card does says Full MPEG2 supported, not sure if that is the same as hardware MPEG. But I know I do have it set to hardware on the Nvidia forceware software. and it does have an integrated TV encoder too, not sure if that helps but it should.

Haven't tried diff decoders, any suggestions on which decoders to try?

Thanks
