I have 3 files. Two of which are HD 1080i MPEG2 transport streams and 1 of them is an HD 1080p H264 transport stream.
When i try to play those 3 files with WMP they all play just fine. The two MPEG2 HD streams use the NVIDIA PureVideo Codec whereas the H264 HD stream uses the CoreAVC with Haali Splitter codec.
But thats all with WMP. If i try to play them within MP noone of them play. Even if i set Merits on DirectShow filters (CoreAVC, Haali Splitter and NVIDIA Pure Video) MP dosent seem to use those codecs for the specific three files.
Any ideas what could be wrong. Espessialy in the H264 HD Stream the problem is pretty obvious since MP is using NVIDIA Purevideo decoder which of course it cannot decore H264 HD streams at the current version. According to my DirectShow Filter Merits and WMP CoreAVC with Haali Splitter should have been used to decode this stream.
