I have used MP 0.23 RC1 for a while and today I wanted to test it with the TV3 server. I downloaded the vidoes and followed the instructions. So far so good. What still is not working as expected is:
1.) The EPG data seems not to be grabbed from DVB. The TV server console
shows Grabbing EPG on the "Manual Control Screen" for an hour now and
no EPG data so far.
2.) If there are multiple audio tracks for a channel how can I influence
which audio is used. On some channels I get AC3 but on some not.
Using MP without server I was able to receive AC3 sound on those channels.
Also you could manually change PIDs for the channel in the setup when
using the built in tv-engine. When using TV3 I don't see those settings.
3.) When selecting the channel view from within MP the EPG information
is presented very large on the left and the channel name only very small
on the right. This looks different on the installation video where only the
channel name is presented in this view which looks much better imho.
Has this changed or is anything wrong with my installation?
PS: I'm using the latest builds of MP and TV3 and a FireDTV-C TV Card.
Thanks for your help.
