Problems with Hauppauge WinTV-Nova-HD-S2 (1 Viewer)

Hi there,

Is anyone else having problems with this card in MP?

I also have an HVR-2200 which always works fine but when I try and pick a channel satellite channel using the Nova, it either says that there is no tuner card available, Mediaportal freezes and I have to re-set it or sometimes the channel works.

I cannot seem to work out why it is intermittently working.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Change the diseqc value from none to either Simple A or Simple B

There is a fault at the moment and the devs are aware.

Thanks for that - do I have to rescan or do anything else once the setting is changed or is it literally the case that I don't need to do anything else?

Just change the setting and your channels will work.
