I am having problems with suspend / hibernate and resume. I have a clean install of Win7 32bit (with all updates) and Mediaportal (no extra plugins or skins).
I would like Mediaportal to suspend or hibernate when not in use for some time (15 minutes) and wake up for scheduled recordings or a push on the powerbutton. I tried to configure this with PowerScheduler in both TV server and mediaportal configuration, and used all different sets of options.
The best result I have is that the system goes to sleep after the configured amount of time, and does wake up when I push the power button. But Mediaportal responds very slow, especially in watching tv: actually when turning on TV in MP the window stays black and MP freezes for several minutes. When it 'unfreezes' I can use the mouse again but the TV screen stays black. When I try changing a channel MP behaves in a similar way.
Sometimes the freeze is (semi) permanent and I have to stop MP with the Win7 task manager, reboot the system and start all over again.
Any help would be very much appreciated,
Bart
