When I press <ENTER> during live TV playback to see program list, it takes about 10 seconds to display approx 200 programs. And I don't even have EPG working yet. During this time, MP just freezes loading the program list from server database.
Why does it take so long for 200 programs to load?
Are there multiple SQL statements involved? If so, can a developer post them here so that I can take a look at them? I'm relatively good with SQL and it may be possible to optimize the statements into fewer (just one) that would execute much faster.
Alternatively, is it possible to rewrite this piece of code so that it would display the list immediately and populate it from a separate thread?
Logs not attached due to irrelevance.
