Progress-bar for videos and dvds (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I was just watching my first DVD/video in MediaPortal (1.0.2) and was wondering about the missing "progress bar":
The one that shows how much of the video is left and that can be used to access a certain point in time directly.
I found the "y"-shortcut to display a progress-bar. But I cannot control the current position when watching a dvd. When watching a xvid-movie, the display is totally wrong...

Is there a way to fix this? Or is this just how it is supposed to be?

Regards and thank you for any help
Andreas

Hi I have the same problem using MP 1.1 beta, or even worse? If I watch an AVI-video, I get controlls at the top of the screen, but the progress bar comes out only if I use e.g. "fast play" initiated from controls from the top of the screen, the progress bar is not visible if I click by e.g. my mouse at the bottom of the screen as before (older MP version). And if I play a DVD I can see no controls no progress bar. Curiously the controls are working if I click at the "right" place that I remember from before, but there is no icon of the control visible ... BR and thanks for any help Rudi

Hi thanks for help, pressing Y helps in case of AVI-files playing. In case of DVD I can see no controls, no progress bar, pressing Y does not help. Thus I have no information and also no opportunity to stop video, switch on subtitles, ... I can stop it just by remembering where is the stop buttom and pushing there by my mouse (till now I have no remote controll ...), in the previous MP (now I have MP 1.1) I could see the controls and progress bar only partially. Partially means controls appeared slowly and progress bar only at the edges of the screen and otherwise it was overlied by the DVD video ...
