    Hi all!

Welcome to the current MP2 development status.
The last weeks, I didn't do so much for MP2 because 1) I have very much to do at work at the moment and 2) I'm preparing for our switch to Git, which takes time to get used to the new system.

But there were some some changes I can list, most of them are only technical so you should not directly see them:

    • Some SkinEngine fixes (Baboonanza)
    • Fixed some problems in the MediaLibrary
    • Fixed resource update when an imported folder was changed
    • Fixed media search view returning too many items on "Add all to playlist"
    • Improved mouse scrolling in StackPanels: When the StackPanel/VSP was too small, the number of items which were scrolled by the mouse wheel could be bigger than the number of visible items
    • Increased maximum number of visible items in the Media navigation to 5000
    • Fixed some font characters not being shown (Baboonanza)
    • Switched MP2 client and server to VS 2010
    • Improved WrapPanel, added scrolling to WrapPanel
    • The horizontal/vertical scroll bar visibility can now be configured for ScrollViewers
    • Fixed some SkinEngine parts which produced memory leaks, improved disposal of UI elements
    • Prepared for the move to Git

    Cheers,
    Albert

    Hey Albert,

it is pretty cool that you do sooo much for MP2 =)
What would you say how far MP2 is? Maybe 70%?
I just can't wait for the first real release of MP2 with it's own Tv server :p Especially *you*, Bamboonanza and Morheus do a really great job, thumbs up ;)

I can hardly say how far we are advanced. What is 100% for you?

100% is for me that MP2 is released, Tv is working (not over Tv4Home) and acceptable audio/video playback.
    Bugs are allowed xDD

Yes, they want to rework whole MP xD But as far as I know they want to take some parts from the old Tv server, but I'm not sure...

there is code that can be re-used, but the framework of the TVServer will need to be re-written as there are things that it just cannot do without significan changes. I think the idea would be to make it more modular, so new turning methods or EPG systems can be integrated more easily, for example.

The guys working on the Sky UK and Italy enhancements have to do a great deal of patching to get their code working with the current TVServer. I think they idea would be to enable this kind of functionality through plugins for the server rather than having to patch the code every time new services are integrated.
