Q: PVR350: Install only drivers OR drivers + MPEG encoders ? (1 Viewer)

Hi all,
I'm currently preparing my XPSP3- system from scratch for MP1.2.0.

Q: For my analogue Hauppauge PVR350 TV card, to work in MP 1.*, is it enough to install just the drivers or do I also have to supply the MPEG encoders from Hauppauge ?

Background of my question is that MP1.x records in TS - Format, so I thought the conversion is done my MP, not by the card.

Hi.
The PVR-350 is, like the PVR-150, a hardware encoding analogue card. This means that drivers is enough to make it work with MP.

I actually used to have the 350. When setting it up, remember to use the excellent quality control made by MisterD thx.

I thought it was contained in the setup of the configuration of the card ?
