Question about install. (1 Viewer)

Hi,

Sorry if this is a dumb question but I currently have MP 0.7.5 installed and working great but if I install the latest beta, do I have to re-download all of my movie covers, backdrops/artwork? Is it possible to just install the newest beta over my existing version.

Installing the new version will first backup your existing database (all your settings and movie data) then upgrade you to 1.0. So yes, just run the installer and restart MediaPortal, that should be it. Keep in mind though that out of the box only Blue3Wide is supported, although a few other skins have added support in the last few days (listed in the main release thread).
