Question About Multiseat Installation (1 Viewer)

I currently run TV Server and Client on the same computer but i would like to run the TVServer on a seperate computer.

What is the HW requirements for the TVServer computer ? I would like it to consume as little power as possible.
(Processor, Memory, Graphic card)

I also want the TVServer to suspend while not recording and no clients are connected. Does it work that way ?

Will the Clients wake the server up when MediaPortal starts ?

I use an old SiemensFujitzu 1,4 GHz, 1 Gig Ram (i thing less is also possible) without any problems.

I now have a multiseat setup and it works very well.

But i would like my TVServer to suspend when not watching TV or Recording TV. Is there any Solution for thar requirement ?

I can get my server to Hibernate when there is no activity, i also can get it to wake up for recording. But i also want it to wake up when media Portal starts.

You would need to setup wake on lan for the server and use a utility on your client to send the wake up package to the server. I am not aware of an integrated solution to this, so it would mean use a batch to send wake-up and start MP on the client.
