Question about switching HDHOMERUN from MCE to MP (1 Viewer)

I downloaded MP 1.2.0 and I have 2 dual tuner HDHOMERUN's. I am using Win 7 MCE to do my recording right now on my file server. I use the HTPC's MCE to watch Live TV and play the recordings from the file server's MCE (added the file servers library).

Anyways, I want to install MP on my workstation and try it out but I am wondering if on my workstation by selecting MP in the config instead of MCE will it mess up how the file server works with the HDHOMERUN? There are a lot of recordings tonight (Thursday night lineup) and I will be at school. I don't want the wife calling up saying it's not recording now.

I am not worried about conflicting tuners I am just wondering if the app provided by SiliconDust for the tuners will change how the tuners stream out data or does it just change how that individual pc interprets it for whatever app it's running (not affecting others)? I hope that question made sense?!

After posting this (also from guaging the activity of this forum to an extent) I figured why not just email SD? Here is the response I received from SilconDust:

Hello,

The application specified in HDHomeRun Setup changes driver behavior on the specific PC it is set on. It does not affect other PCs using the HDHomeRun.

Figured this was how it worked but wanted to make sure since this is a network based tuner. I posted this in case others have the same question in the future.
