    Hi,

There are some channels at 7E Eutelsat W3. Those channels mainly are radio channels. But u can watch a "live aquarium" while listening a radio on tv Paketler: Digitürk - KingOfSat (Search page for Aquavision please).

I was able to make it work with dreambox. Dreambox recognise those channels as radio channels. Then i change type to tv and set Video and PCR values to 2176.

Now with Mediaportal those channels already recognised as tv channels . But there is no voice at channels. Is there any way to make it work with mediaportal?

    Thanks

    (sorry for my bad english)

    Hi there

Make sure the audio PID (apid) in the TV Server tuning detail is the same as the audio PID in the Dreambox.

    Database name:mptvdb
    Table name: tuningdetail

    Default user name: root
default passwd: MediaPortal (may be case sensetive )

    Hi there

    Happy Christmas to you :)
Yes the database is the only place you can set PIDs. It is pretty unusual to have to do that so there is no screen or function that I know of to do it from TV Server configuration. Did setting the PIDs to the same ones as the Dreambox fix the problem?

    Hi again

It seems the Aquavision channel itself doesn't have any audio. Certainly there is no PID listed under the "audio" column for that channel. This would be why you saw the aquarium but didn't hear any audio. Having said that, you may notice that the PID in the "video" column for that channel is the same PID that is listed for all the channels (example: "hottest hits") below it. This means you would see the aquarium if you tune to "hottest hits" or "songs of love" or "80s hits" - the video is shared by all those channels. Those channels seem to be encrypted, so if you don't have a CAM with the correct smartcard linked to your tuner then you can't listen to them. You can only watch the unencrypted aquarium video...

    hi,

Yes you right. Aquarium screen is video stream for all radio channals. So only thing that we should do for make it work is just linking the video stream (aquarium) for each channels. So only changing vpid value must work. But it is somehow didnt work  . My CAM is working good for all other channels for same provider. So no problem with CAM.

    Hi again

I think that TV Server should already have linked the video PID for the aquarium to each of the "radio" channel. The problem may be caused by the fact that the video is not encrypted but the audio is. TV Server uses the audio to check whether a channel is encrypted. If it is, then it sends all the streams from the channel to the CAM. In this case it would mess up the video stream because it doesn't need decrypting. That is my guess anyway...

So let's check this. If you go into the DB again, is the aquarium video stream's PID entered for each of the radio channels?

Also, when you try to "listen" to one of the "radio" channels in MediaPortal, do you hear the audio?
