    Hi All!

As you can see below - I am using FireDTV boxes right now.
As Digitally Everywhere does not produce HW any more, I woud like to get an impression, what is the best alternative.

    I NEED:

DVB-S2 HD compatible receiver with CAM module slot!
Running under Windows 7 / AlphaCrypt light and Sky card !

    My Goal:

    Fast channel switching
Very good SKY decoding with multiple channels at one time
    BEST MP support :)

Up to now FireDTV was the best supported HW on the market - they directly supported MP !
So MP TEAM - what will it be right now???

    Many THANX in advance

    André

    I've exactly the same question.
I'm busy with the preparation of a total new environment and for the first time with satellite connection.

I'm also wondering if the TV-server is stable enough for daily usage, cause when I'm done, there will be no alternative anymore.

I use DVBS since 4 years. First i had a Floppy DTV S2 (Cam Alpha Light + Sky).

Before three month i changed it against a Digital Devices Cine S2 + Ci (Dual Tuner). Works really fine for me. But the skipping time between Sd and HD is a bit worste some times ~ 5-10s. Skipping Time between SD and SD bzw. HD to HD ~1-2s.

The Floppy was really faster, but the DD Cine S2 works also really fine.
