Shinto, the xm2xml grabber gets the data from the same place where windows media center gets its data. This data is about 10-14 days ahead. This place is not tvgids.nl AlfredENeuma, I don't care much for your 'angry' reply to my message. I have no intention to attack any of the developers and I don't like you making that suggestion without knowing me. I like MP enormously and have said so in my post. I am simply very frustrated that I can't get this guide to work. I am not very good with computers so I am already very proud of myself in getting MP to work at all! I thought I had everything perfect when i found out the guide wasn't working properly. When I found out that getting it to work would mean a new install, that would automatically mean I would have to do the same difficult thing all over again. To me, that looks like an enormous obstacle. I have read the wiki and spent the entire evening on getting the server part to work, but it is simply out of my league I guess. I have gotten some channels to show something but I have been unsuccessful in getting a tvguide into MP. However clear this wiki looked to me, it still skipped a lot of steps that I probably needed to understand what I am doing. btw, I am fully aware that MP is free and completely different from a commercial product. I have absolutely no intention to disrespect any of the people working on MP and helping here in the forum. In my opinion it is still allowed to compare certain functions though without stepping on some peoples toes. To me as a computer idiot, there is simply a huge difference in setting up the tv part of MP with respect to VMC. I hope I am allowed to state this..... :(
