Radio Autostart (1 Viewer)

MediaPortal Version: 1.0.2.


Hi,

in the english function page of Mediaportal is mentioned that I could start mediaportal and automatically my favorite Radiostation starts playing. On the german page this isn't mentioned at all.

However I would like the function but can't find any hint how and where to configure that. I hope you can help.

Thats a function from the now defunct old internal television\radio module, so does not exist if using tvserver.

Hi, thanks for the quick reply.

Is their any chance to get this feature back (may be in the next Version?)

It was so nice. push the button and after some time radio starts, especially in the morning were you are sleepy anyway, no need of switching the TV on, one button only, then preparing the coffee and when its done music plays...

Hi,

Once when using single seat I was using this option as well, got used to it not being present when switched over to multi seat.
But after reading this I would say a +1 for me.

If this is not possible, then maybe it would be an idea to have this in the form of a 'autostart' plugin?

I am trying to get some more ppl interested in that so we might trigger some developers

I am looking for exactly the same functionality since i used the "enable radio on start" from the old engine alot! There is an autostart plugin which was fixed for 1.1 but doesnt really support radio (its listed in settings but you cannot enable it) here is the thread from the french forum where you can get this fixed version (works "ok" for TV for now)
