 As easy as that? In the words of the immortal Homer... Doh!:D

 Actually, I have now looked in configuration > Radio and there is no check box! I have also looked elsewhere and can still find nothing. Where exactly is it?

If one of the radio stations has a tick in it, it will start with MP, had this happen to me to, god only knows how, as i had not even been into the radio section before, happened way back when i was a noob.

ps. most people do not know this happens, handy if you want radio though

    Regards

Thanks, guys. I did try this before but it did not work so I assumed it was another setting I had to change. As it was it took 2 attempts before it finally turned off the radio at startup!
All I want now from the radio is to be able to record a program, into MP3. I understand this has been promised for quite some time.
