    Hello,

when i watch tv i get randomly heavy artefacts. Skipping back 15s and skipping forward 15s solves this problem. I found no conspicous entries in the log files. But i attached the logs for the professionals.
    Can anybody help?

    Thank you in advance

Have you got any AntiVirus software scanning the recording folder, make sure it is added as a exception to live scans in AV options

No, no Antivirus Software, no Windows Defender, nothing in Background that could slow down Windows.
MP is running on a realy clean installation of Win7/32.
There are also no entries in Windows eventlogs.
Is it a possble Problem of my TV Card? In my oppinion it could not be the TV Card because skipping forward and backward stops the artefacts all the time.

Something is scanning could it be the IFC plugin, although for me its no problem, is the timeshift folder on the same drive as the OS.

hopefully its not a problem with ifc, because i like this plugin.
Timeshiftfolder is on another partition but physicaly on the same drive.
I tried to use a 8GB USB-Stick as drive for the timeshift --> same problems with artefacts.
What do you suggest? Should i use a second physical harddrive? My first hd is a slow but silent one :-(

    Thank you in advance

I have installed RC2 now (clean installation).
    Always the same issue:
Heavy artefacts while watching HDTV with PDVD9 Codec (SAF4 unlocked).
Using the Microsift HD Codec solves the problem, but i do not like the image quality of the M$ codec.

    P.S. I use a ramdisk as timeshiftbuffer
