I just did a complete new install of mediaportal 1.0.2, on a fresh install of XP SP3, with all updates installed, and hotfixes detailed on this site (dvb hotfix).

Everything seemed to be running fine, but then I was just watching tv, and it suddenly quit, and created the attached log file.

Can anyone tell me what happened, and what I can do to avoid this in future?

Thanks,
Dan

don't know if related but there is a problem with some hauppage cards and sp3 usb do a search on that, i have a mce500 dual tuner and had to go back to sp2 to solve it.
also found tv server to be far more stable having a separate disk for time shifting.
is it mp client crashing or does the tvserver crash out as well?

The only USB device I'm using is a sub wireless adapter... which doesn't seem to have any issues.

It seemed to be mediaportal that crashed, not the TV Server.

Thanks for the response.

Just happened again, actually as I was quitting mediaportal myself, manually...

Here are the logs, if anyone can decipher them.

Thanks,
Dan

some of the haup cards have a built in usb controller for various purpose which can include the remote,
