Rar Plugin (1 Viewer)

I want the possibility to exctract movies from rar-arcvives from inside My Videos. I decided to try to create a plugin that can make this happen. I can get a plugin working that extracts rar-files to a given folder, the problem is, how do I get My Videos to call my methods when it finds rar files? I figured if Daemontools can be set to handle imagefiles, a simular thing would work for rar-archives and WinRAR. I just cant figure out how to detect that a rar-file has been chosen in My Videos.

Any suggestions?

I am sorry but I wouldn't be able to help you out on that one. Maybe coming to IRC and talking with some of the Dev's might help. I am looking forward to this kind of support. I am working on testing the my torrents plugin and once a .rar file has been download, it would be nice to be able to extract it. I am hoping you can add basic rar support that allows you to extract the rar file where you want it and then remove the old .rar's.
