RC2 date on homepage says 11-07-2008 (1 Viewer)

The 1.0RC2 post on the homepage is dated 11-07-2008 which I believe may be causing some confusion along with the fact that SVN19603 had RC2 on the splash screen. I was talking to someone about RC2 and he was under the impression that last week's SVN was RC2 due to the splash screen and the date on the front page. I think people may not upgrade to the real RC2 thinking that SVN19603 was actually RC2.

I also noticed the date, but I do not think that SVN19603 was RC2. There was a few changes comitted during the last week. See here. I guess the article date and the splash screen was just a result of an early start to get everything right for the real RC2 release. Maybe I am wrong. Any help from the team?

Yeah, I read a post where one of the devs mentioned that something was fixed in RC2 over 19603 so they are definitely not the same. Date should be updated to avoid confusion.

rofl, why did you post that into the bugreports?

reason for that is that i written the news entry on 2008-07-11, and unlocked it then 2 days ago.
