RC3: AC3 sound vs. Stereo (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I've installed RC3 with CVS 25.03.

Everything fine, except for zapping between stations with AC3 and Stereo sound.

In Germany, we have stations with only stereo and a few but important with AC3 (ZDF, SAT1, PRO7)

Here what I experienced:

1. Watching and zapping between whatever station without changing audio (F9) which means default Stereo: FINE

2. Changing audio (via F9) to AC3 when tuned into AC3 capable station: FINE

3. Directly after step 2, changing audio to stereo: FINE

4. Zapping to stereo-only stations when coming from AC3 capable station and AC3 selected: No sound on every only-stereo-channel. Since there is no option via F9 to change audio: deadlock...

5. However, when I quit MP and restart it, the last selected station (here: with stereo audio) works fine.

My suggestion considering this: When zapping between channels, MP should look what audio stream is available in the target channel and actively select AC3 when available or stereo (otherwise-branch)!

Is this possible?? I offer my help for testing this.
