Rc3 is great. Recording 4 shows at once (1 Viewer)

Hi there. I've just downloaded and installed RC3, and its great. I have 2 tv tuner cards running from a single antenna. I always thought that 1 tuner card, could only record 1 show at a time, so I bought another tv card. My son asked me if I could record 3 channels, and I said ill give it a go. It worked. I tried 4 different stations at the same time. It worked too. My wife will be sooo happy. Is this because of the new portal version, or could I always record more than 1 station, using 1 tv tuner card.

I was here long time but it mostly depends on your Card/CAM abilities and certain channels. Card can record up to all channels from one transponder but limited by CAM count ability to descramble channels at the same time.

hint, with 2 channels recording on 2 different transponders, open the miniguide, there you will see available and non available channels listed that you can record\watch, not available channels tend to have the road sign "no entry" or a red symbol on them.
