Can you play them in Windows Media Player 9 or 10?

Hello Taipan and thanks for your answer. :)
Name file is ok (ie tvrecordname.dvr-ms, opened by default with wmp10 dépending on windows registry).
But size of dvr-ms file is only 9 ko for half a hour of record.
Impossible to read file with wmp10 neither with media player classic and vlc.
I have "unable to render file" error.

So your saying, once the show has finished recording you can watch it? Most likely meaning the dvr-ms file is just the playable file and there are hidden system sbe files which contain the actual timeshifted material.

Depending on the way you start your recorded show depends on how its recorded.

Yes, but only if start/stop manually then, size of the file is larger.
I'm not sure but, I will try more this evening to confirm that :
I believe that, it's OK when TV is showed during the record (in TV screen or in general menu with TV on the little window).
But, if I go for example, in my music, I play a song file during the TV record then, the TV record is lost in DVR-MS file.
    Best regards.

Tested with latest SVN from 4/3/2006 1h06.
Definitively not, same problem appears with TV showed or not.
This issue seems to appears when programmed by tvguide or when recorded until end of current program.

So are there the hidden sbe files (remember system hidden so they will only show if you disable hide protected operating system files)?

And which card are you using, the PVR-350 or the software card?

Hello Callifo and thanks for your interest :)
There are not sbe in folders card1, card2, card3.
Only hidden file I can see are not sbe here :

And I use only the PVR-350 because I have 'unable to create graph device' with others cards :?

Its a little strange then that the dvr-ms file is 9kb, you have no sbe files and the files still work?!? Where's the rest of the mpeg2 files going to...

With just those 3 9kb files in there, is the total folder size ~30kb then?

well, it's not strange, I had erased records wich worked.
All files in previous screen doesn't work (all recorded until end of program).
one was recorded on the tv screen.
the second was recorded by tvguide
the third was recorded with come back in my music and, read a mp3 file during record.
Now, the same folder with a record working (ie when start/stop manually) and going in my music too.

Then, I can see too there is a tempSBE folder in card1 folder wich is empty.
