After installing RC4, the MediaPortal.exe process remains active after you shut it down.

It kept on running until i (~5 hours later) launched the config application which told me that MP was still running.

As you can see, it requested a shutdown, got rid of some things and.... well it didn't actually close 100%. The window disappeared but the process was still running.

Recommend disabling any plugins you are using to find the culprit that's keeping MP open.

Moving Pictures\TVSeries plugins have both been culprits in the past for this.

Agree - make sure you're running the absolute latest of these plugins.

For the first time ever, running RC4, MovingPictures and TV-Series - my mediaportal finally closes properly upon request - AND, I can sleep my machine and resume without any additional help. I don't even need to restart MP upon a resume. Yay. :)

I'm not running MovingPictures, but I am using TV-Series, a fresh release.
