RC4: MP exits by itself with no apparent reason (1 Viewer)

I'm having this serious prob lately: MediaPortal exits by itself with no apparent reason after undetermined time.
Sometimes it runs whole day without a problem, sometimes it exits after few mins. Doesn’t matter what I’m doing in MP in that moment. Sometimes happens while I’m watching live TV, sometimes while watching recorded TV, sometimes while listening to mp3. This thing is killing me. Main reason is that I can’t be sure that my scheduled recordings will end fine, because if MP exits while recording a program, recorded video gets corrupted and can’t be played anymore

It started to happen about two weeks ago with RC3 and some of the latest SVN for RC3. After I completely reinstalled MP (clean install) few times but the problem persists. Haven’t messed with codecs at all since my system install (dedicated htpc system). Somehow I don’t believe it’s a codec problem, since sometimes I don’t have to watch any video to having this erroneous behavior.

I really need for some idea how to solve this thing, because my MP usability factor is very low right now considering I’m using it as a PVR system in 95% of time…

Have you tried disabling your Hauppauge remote control in configuration?

Its just HCWHelper is the control associated with MP and its the last thing in the log. Worth a try...
