RC6 Media Center remote not working (1 Viewer)

I have a Microsoft certified Windows Media Center remote that came with Hauppauge WinTV-HVR 2250 tuner.
I cannot seem to get it to work with MP. It works fine with WinTV v7 (Hauppage's TV software) so I don't think the remote is defective.
I have tried to configure (MediaPortal configuration/remote) it as MCE remote as well as IR Remote.

Hmm, I have the same problem after updating MP to 1.0.2.

Did you find any solution?

I can't get mine to work either. I have been reading other posts where it says to try editing the hauppauge.xml file, but I can't seem to find that file at all. If I try the "Learn" option, it does register that I am pressing buttons - but it sets the property to 0 for each button?

If it is a usb RC6 remote, you go into device manager, it should appear as ehome ir receiver, select properties and choose hardwareID, that code needs to be put into the C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal or user files, these are accessible from the mediaportal start menu folder, the file you are lookin to edit in notepad is ehome infrared tranceiver list.xml, just add the hardwareID and description, pretty much copy the layout that already exists for existing remotes, once saved, should now work when MS remote chosen in config.

I used IR Server Suit and that solved the problem for me.
