i was wondering how moving pictures reads the nfo files does it just look for the imdb number or can it look through it and find the title runtime and such
You will find the NFO scanner explained in detail over here: NFO Scanner - Moving Pictures
A file with the correct imdb link or imdb id (almost the same) will do the trick.
Your file does contain an imdb id (the tt + number)
It stops at the first id found.
so the scaner does not care about any thing but the imdb number, i kinda wish i did grab the info from nfo file because i like some of my movies to be named different than what the offical name is on imdb.
I have recently installed MediaPortal 1.37 (x64) and MP-TVSeries v4.5.1.697 and unfortunately the TV episode runtime duration is missing in my Titan skin. This only applies to my .TS files, my .MKV files are OK. I believe the difference is likely to be because .MKV files embed the runtime in the file unlike .TS files.

@CyberSimian Sorry, I missed your last post. I ended up doing a clean install on the client and all is well now. It still doesn't let me go back in time when I change channels but it does continue operating from that point on. I'm ok with that. Thanks for your help!
EDIT: I now downgraded the server (as I did with the client above)...
