Hi

I am currently in the process of setting up a Revo R3610, when I point moving pictures to my folder its taking forever pick up the films. Most of the films are also not recognized nor is there an alternative title in the drop down list!!

Any one got any ideas??

Win7 64bit, wired lan to server where films are stored.

    Attacted are the logs.

I have even tried a fresh install of W7 to no avail!!

Seeing that you are using an nVidia Ion as GPU, you are more then likely using an Atom or other slow CPU to go along. Since the .NET framework is not exactly known for its speed, you will have to take some delays for granted. You might also be limited on memory which can all add up pretty quick to a slow result.

The main problem for you however seems to stem from the following errors:

Error while generating FileHash for: \\10.1.1.2\Videos\Films\8Mile.mkv
Error while generating FileHash for: \\10.1.1.2\Videos\Films\a.view.to.a.kill.mkv

So you might want to look into the UNC share setup for \\10.1.1.2 that you have going. Try read+write permissions for example, see if they solve things (it works fine for me on read-only shares, but I recall some users with Linux NAS setups that have incorrect chmod/chown permissions to make things run correct).

Also you are immediatly trying to import 192 movies, which makes debugging a little bit more complicated, so try to limit it down to just a couple to first get everything working. Doing this from inside the Configuration Screen and not the GUI will also be easier, as looking at some of your filenames there is going to be a lot of manual correction required as there are many movies called "The Box" to match "the box.mkv" (though popularity system will most likely get the right one).

If you create a folder \Temp on the \\10.1.1.2 system and move all the Films in there, and then move 2 or 3 movies back, you will see that they instantly show up in the Configuration Screen Import section and they should turn into a green circle when they have found a match at imdb, and then a green circle with checkmark when obtaining all the info has been completed. The ones that fail to do this, will require manual correction via the drop down box, or possibly the binocular icon to submit missing info such as year/imdb-tt-id.

    Enjoy.

The filehash errors definitely seem suspicious Rochess but in my opinion there is not really enough information to make a call on whats going on here.

You started and stoped the plugin very quickly with that log file, while in the GUI. Sorry maybe I should have been more specific but could you please post debug logs while running the configuration screen after letting the importer do its job for a while? It would be best to at least let 4 or 5 items finish processing.

I set the import going again and its been running around 4 1/2 hours and still got a log way to go!
Its taking upwards of 3 minutes to even find matches of film names!

I have noticed that the CPU and memory usage arent really that high, CPU under 15% and memory around 45% (normal)!

My other HTPC (AMD 4850e + 2GB RAM) can import the whole movie collection at once in under 45 minutes so it cant just be that the ION isnt powerful enough, can it??

I am 99% certain its not a hardware issue. Can you please post longer debug logs? The first didnt have enough information to figure out the problem because you started in the GUI and only left things open for about 60 seconds.
