Receiving digital channels from cable with DVB-T tuner - possible? (1 Viewer)

Hi,

My cable provider just started to broadcast in digital. They said we need their STB to receive the digital channels, and I guess that contains a DVB-C tunner

I have a hauppauge HVR1300, which is a hybrid card, analog + DVB-T. Can I use it to receive digital channels from my cable provider?

My country / zone is not available in TV tuner setup drop-down list for digital tuner card, I tried various countries (Europe-all, Austria, UK, Germany, etc), but no result

Is there any way I can do this?

Nope, DVB-T is transported differently compared to DVB-C. You will need an other tuner, unfortunately.
