Recommend Me A Tuner (1 Viewer)

hey guys,
I've been using a nova t500 in my htpc and it works great but because it is basically two usb tuners on a pci card it takes about 30 seconds after s3 resume before it allows me to watch/record tv. So I am looking to get a new dual dvb-t tuner to replace this and was wondering what you guys can recommend which works well with MP and would mean I wouldn't have to wait after a resume before I can watch tv. Also I was wondering if I kept my current nova t500 as well is there a way to set the new card to be used 1st and the t500 only for recording.

I realise USB tuners are probably not preferred, but the KWorld 399U dual dvb-t USB tuner I use works great with MP.

Maplin have these in their 'sales' periodically at half price - the two I have only cost 25 GBP each....

Hi,
I am not sure where i found them, as i am work, but i am using a driver for the Nova T-500 that WASN'T written by hauppuage. (or it is a modified hauppuage driver, cant remember which?).
Anyway to cut a long story i installed the driver the other day and it seems to be working out a LOT better. I am on Vista x64 with 4Gb ram.
I will post a link tonight when i get back.

Knew i had seen them on here somewhere. Try these by New Magic (drivers for Nova T-500) Make sure you pick the correct driver for your specific card
