recorded TV is static (1 Viewer)

The list of times in recorded tv does not change when the back end records a show. I have this computer as a DVR. When I wake up to see what it recorded over the night, it won't have anything. I try to play a show, then I am back on the list with the new recordings.

Any way this list can be updated live?

MediaPortal does perform some asynchronous screen updates. For example:

• The "Recording started" pop-up appears for a brief time when a recording starts.
• The red dot indicating a currently-active recording appears when a recording starts, and disappears when there are no active recordings.

Unfortunately, the list of recordings is not updated in this way.

To see an updated list, you simply need to display another panel, and then return to the "Recorded TV" panel. For example, press the GUIDE button on your remote control to display the programme guide, and then press the BACK button on the remote control to return to the "Recorded TV" panel.

Thank you, that is a better way! I kind of miss MythTV; but this works better on windows than Myth.
