I've created a link elsewhere about an Idea, see link below:

Basically I would like to be able to have the following Main Home Screen Menu Options:
Live TV
Recorded TV
TV Series
Films
Music
Pictures
Weather
Explorer
Settings
So far so good, my only problem here is getting the Recorded TV from within the TV Plugin to link to a main home screen menu option. Would I be able to create a plugin to perform this task?
Reason I ask is that I know you can amend the basic home screen quite easily and use a hyperlink system to perfom this but I much prefer the look and feel of the Main Home Screen. Please see pic below.
Please can anybody help as I'm really out of my depth with editing MP to this extent.
BTW and yes I know I can already map this to my fancy remote (which I've already done).
