Recorded TV Playback fast-forward Problem (1 Viewer)

I have a new and recent problem when attempting to watch a recorded TV series. e.g. Inspector Morse, Lewis, etc. Doesn't seem to be happening when watching film videos/imported-DVDs. ...and TV series imported from DVDs is okay!

I watch the TV series episode, find the adverts, fast forward (x2, x4 x16 and sometimes x32 - Comskip just isn't working anymore but not sure if related) and about 50% of the time while selecting the next fastest fast-forward, I'm dropped out of viewing mode back to the series listings. ...and then the episode resets me as back to the beginning. This happens with quiet a few series episodes and some are now impossible to watch with MP so been forced to restart using VLC Media Player ;-((

1. I've attached an MP log file
2. Using the latest MP TV Series importer (if that makes any difference): v3.6.0.2075
3. using MP 1.6 with Titan skin
4. Using Win 7 64bit

Found the problem. It was associated with historic WTC (Windows Media Centre) files recorded some 18 months ago before I started using MP. Converted them all to MKV format and no longer have the fast-forward dorp-out problem.
