Recorded TV Problem (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I have had MediaPortal running for a few days. However, I am unable to locate my recorded TV within "My TV". If I look in the windows directory where the TV is recorded to then the data is there to see. However, "My TV" does not show it under "Recorded TV".

Am I missing something basic?

Hi,

apparently some changes were made to the MP engine recently which require the skins to be updated to actually show the recordings. I imagine it should work with the default Blue3 skins. You could also set up a 'share' under My Videos that points to your recordings folder - this should allow you to browse to your recordings and play them under My Videos.

Hi,

Thanks very much for tghe quick reply. That would make sense as this feature was working under blue3. I installed the monochrome skin and now it does not work. Is there a fix?

If not, how would I add a share to "My Videos"?

You'll have to check the Monochrome forum for a fix - I use StreamedMP and/or Aeon, so I'm not sure.

You can add a new Shared Folder in the MediaPortal configuration, follow the instructions here.

When you're in the MediaPortal UI, you may need to switch from Database view to Shares view (using the Switch View button).

Unfortunately "My Videos" does not seem to work since I installed "Moving Pictures"
