    Am I missing something?

From Recorded TV section, I cannot delete newly recorded programs. I was able to delete programs that were recorded before last SVN. I can delete them manually from windoze then remove them from the db in TV-Server config.

I started MP, went to MyTV (turned off the playing TV program) went to RecordedTV and selected the first recorded program, hit info on my remote and selected delete program, selected yes when asked and got a message that the program could not be deleted, but no reason why. I exited MP and collected the logs.

    Thanks for any help.

MP quite suddenly stopped recording TV, and since there were no responses to this notice (whether it was a real issue or imagined.. as in user error) I thought I'd hijack it and say both issues are now fixed ... for now.

I ended up doing a complete uninstall of MP and Server, then re-installed and set things up from scratch. I don't know that I did anything different the last time, when a few days into use the recordings stopped being delete-able. then a week later Recording stopped altogether. It was just weirdness.

Anyway.... for now (I'm just a pessimist, I guess).

    Thanks for listening :)

I have the same situation here!!!
But I have notised that after you switch on the TV and after that go back to recordings, you can delete the recorded program normally. I use MCE remote and deleting is done pressing 0 (=zero) while the recorded file is selected, the other way is to press the `i´ button and select delete.
The other way to get the deleting to work is to reboot the computer but that is quite annoying...

This is kinda weird since the deleting of recorded programs was working earlier quite nice and without any problems. This behaviour not to delete recordings started happen suddenly some time ago. There´s also another weird thing that happened some time ago: can´t adjust the volume anymore with the MCE remote (this too was working fine earlier).

I´m running MediaPortal 1.0.0 on a Windows Vista Home Premium 64bit.

Waiting for the 1.0.1 to pop out and going to do rfesh install of MP to see if that helps...

When this happens something has obviously broken your installation, this can be anything from a windows update , to something you may have installed\changed yourself, ie codecs\plugins or skin related.

Anything to do with mce remote, just uninstall in device manager, remove usb, reboot and reinsert usb, that usually fixes things, had to do this a couple of times myself, why it happens, who knows, and if I ever meet him\her will ask :p
