    I'm just a bit confused cause dvbviewer records flawlessly,
    mp as well except those ts-files.
    do you know if dvbviewer uses the streambufferengine for timeshift?

    As it does not record to dvrm-s I suppose it's not using the streambuffer engine.

    Didn't have the time for further testing yet, all I did was a firmware update of my router.
    Don't know if that is connected to the new error messages I get:

    Trying to record it tells me that there's less than 1GB disk space left.

    error log:
    http://pastebin.com/738894

    recorder log:
    http://pastebin.com/738900

    mp log:
    http://pastebin.com/738901

    edit: repeated test and I get same error messages as usual

    Mfg
    Flo

    if there is too less free space on the hdd/share, you will not be able to use timeshift (as longer the time you set for timeshift, as more free space is required).

    since you are using linux as server i can not help you there. :(

    As mentioned above I have 60Gb of free space.
    I edited my last post, the problem only seemed to be temporarily ;)

    Sorry I was away from the city for the last 2 days.

    1. remove the share on the server
    2. create the share again (Freigabe und Sicherheit -> diesen Ordner freigeben)
    3. enter the name of the share
    4. Berechtigungen -> Jeder -> Vollzugriff -> Zulassen
    5. Sicherheit -> hinzufügen -> Jeder -> Vollzugriff -> Zulassen
    6. domain/Benutzer ->Vollzugriff -> Zulassen
    No luck still the same error.
    test it with 2 minutes please
    Again the same.

    i-loop when You tested it with Windows 2003 did you use it as domain controler or in a workgroup.
