Recording starting shrinks TV window size. (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

There appears to be 'built-in' functionality that when a scheduled recording starts, the fullscreen TV drops back to the TV Guide view.
Is there a way to stop this?
The reason is that when my kids or wife are watching TV, they get frustrated that their show 'shrinks' and they need to find the remote to get fullscreen TV again.
Ideally a recording will start with no visible changes occuring to TV playback.

Anyone know how to disable the minimising of fullscreen TV when a recoding starts?

I can confirm this "bug"

You mean:

1. Watch MyTV on channelA
2. scheduled recording on ChannelB starts
3. MediaPortal displays the "a scheduled recording is about to start" message
4. MediaPortal switches to channelB and starts to record
5. MyTV switches back to TVGuide

Sorry, I should have explained myself more clearly.
1) We watch MyTV (fullscreen),
2) A recording starts on any channel and fullscreen TV drops back to the TV Guide screen (with minimised TV playing),
3) We then find the remote and make the TV fullscreen again.
4) Later. the recording finishes and fullscreen TV drops back to the TV Guide screen (again)
5) We then find the remote and make the TV fullscreen again.
