Recording wrong channel (1 Viewer)

Hi, I am very often having problems with MediaPortal not changing channel to the right one according to the programmed recording. So if I e.g. have watched channel 1, and have programmed it to record channel 2, leave myTV module overnight, it will then record at the correct time, but record channel 1. Sometimes I have programmed it to record several different channels, and next day I see that it has recorded programs at the correct times, but only from the same channel every time.

I am using a direct Cable signal to a Hauppauge PVR 150MCE. Seems to me that MediaPortal is simply not able to change the channel to the right one when recording.

Has this problem been fixed in the CVS/SVN since the 0.2RC3?

    Hi,

this should not happen. Which drivers do you use?

Please also check if the correct input source is set (antenna / cable) and if frequencies are set for your channels. There may be a tuning error.

And yes latest SVN did fix many things.

    Had the same problem.

Have a Hauppauge WinTV PVR USB 2, listened to BBC Radio 1 on cable radio. Stopped listening to radio and one day later the tv recorder recorded BBC Radio 1 instead of RTL4 (Which is TV). Black screen and audio of BBC Radio 1 was the result...

Where can I post this kind of bug, just to help the development of Media Portal!

Is there any known fix for this yet? I'm having the same problem.

I have the latest version of MP (0.2.1.0) and have a PVR-150MCE card.

It shows the right channecl and program were recorded but when i play the recoding it's the wrong channel and show.

This soved the problem for me:
In configuration Television/TV channels/edit put in the frequence for the channel that you have problems with and change the channel number to something else than the channel number yo have problem with. (Check the frequence on a standard TV if you dont now the frequence)
Normally Channel No 4 is the one that has the problem for some strange reason...

    Thanks for the reply.

I went where you said, but on the Analog tab the frequencies are already set. The last time this happened was on channel 4 as well for me.

    Anything else i can do?
